Black Veil Brides have announced their new record, The Phantom Tomorrow, due out June 4 via Sumerian Records. The announcement is partnered with a new single/music video for Fields Of Bone, which was directed by the vocalist Andy Biersack, a directorial debut for him.
The Phantom Tomorrow seems to be building toward being a concept record which follows a comic book styled hero, known as “The Blackbird”. This hero is a major symbol for the band, as they were used multiple times as teasers in anticipation of the release.
The first introduction to this new era of Black Veil Brides came to us with their single and music video for Scarlet Cross, which gave us a look into the world the band has created for the album, continuing on into the video for Fields Of Bones, picking up right where Scarlet Cross left off. In this visual, fans were able to see “The Blackbird” fight off against a villain known as “9”. You can stream the music video for Fields of Bone below.
The album’s cover art was created by Eliran Kantor, known for his work with bands such as Testament, Hatebreed, Andy Black and more. The album was also produced by Erik Ron, known for producing bands like Godsmack and Dance Gavin Dance and co-produced by guitarist Jake Pitts. You can find the tracklisting below:
