We Came As Romans Move Forward As Five-Piece Group

Metalcore stronghold We Came As Romans have had a shaky past few months with the recent passing of singer Kyle Pavone from accidental overdose. Until now, the band has been on a slight sparsity with responses due to their grieving and a short listing of dates with UK veterans Bullet For My Valentine.

Screaming vocalist of the group, Dave Stephens, released a positive notion with Kerrang!, noting “We definitely plan on continuing on”, confirming his past statement with Loudwire mentioning the honoring of Pavone and The Kyle Pavone Foundation, an entity created solely in the late-singer’s memory.

In the interview, Stephens also mentioned that they plan on creating new music eventually, although it may not be right away, as they need time to treat their grievances.

Many fans have been questioning the possible addition of another member to the collective, which in regards he quoted, “I’m sure it’s kind of strange to the fans and the band, but I can’t imagine how much more strange it would be to have someone else singing them permanently. We don’t ever want to add another member again, and at this point, we’re closer than ever. We wanna do our best to honor [him] and make him proud, but never replace him. He definitely won’t be forgotten.”

Focusing on their longevity as artists and the legacy of Pavone, We Came As Romans lives another day in the hearts of their dedicated fans.

The entire interview is available in Kerrang!‘s latest edition, which can be picked up on sale any time.
