What year is it again? The Used are back at it with their eighth studio album, Heartwork, released on April 24th, 2020, produced by John Feldmann.

One of the lead singles on this record, “Blow Me”, has arguably one of the heaviest breakdowns of the year so far in the emo and post hardcore community. Fast forward to 2:30 in the song. You can stream it below.

This record has features from massively notable artists including Jason Butler of Fever 333, in “Blow Me”, as well as Caleb Shomo of Beartooth, and Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker of Blink 182, each on their own separate songs.

In an article with Kerrang!, the band noted that there were 27 songs put together throughout the creation of the record. With the 16 songs on Heartwork, a separate release is planned for the end of 2020 that includes the rest of the 11 songs not featured on this album.

Let us know what other breakdowns are making the 2020’s start off great.
