New single: Beauty//Struggle, released by upcoming post hardcore outfit from Albuquerque, New Mexico: Painting Promises.

Beauty//Struggle is such a fitting title for this release. It’s been a while since I’ve personally heard a band do this genre justice with a blend of powerful vocals and synth/programming. My favorite part of this song has to be when the synth kicks in through the center which leads to the outro. The vocals mixed with the rest of the instruments set up the atmosphere that resonates with the song title perfectly. If I were to recommend these guys to anyone, I’d say they sound like a mix between I Am King, Picturesque, and Too Close to Touch. With that being said, Painting Promises really do have a unique style that i’m very excited to hear more from in the future. And I HIGHLY recommend them to others who are looking for some new tunes.
